Obituary of Denise Fick

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Denise Fick, 51, of Lake Park will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 2:00-5:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Lake Park.

Denise Marie Fick passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2021. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. Denise was born and raised in Sioux City until moving to the lakes area in the early 1990’s. She lived a blessed life full of love and attitude.

Denise left behind a wonderful husband, Perry Fick. She is survived by all six of her children and their spouses, Allison Fick, Stephanie and Kenny Collins, Jamie and Alisa Brockhaus, Brooke and George Van Pelt, Bobby Oakley and Celestia J. Fick. She also left behind ten grandkids, Hunter, Deacon, Leah, Kyzer, Ryder, Tia, Kylie, Aaron, Rayne and Xavier.

Denise felt the loss of her mother, Lorraine, her father, Elwood, her brother-in-law, Ken as well as her brothers, Donald and Gary. She also lost her sister, Sherry, who she thought of as a mother.

She spent her life surrounded by love, family, friends and joyous times. She loved working as long as she could talk to customers. She spent a lot of time helping people and trying to make their day better. She will be forever missed.
