Beth Mary Bramhall, 53, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Lakes Regional Healthcare. She was born on May 26, 1969, the daughter of Theodore Kennedy and Sandra (Johnson) Kennedy.

Beth was raised in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. After graduating from Tartan High School, she then earned a degree in Horticulture. She spent a portion of her life in Rice Lake, Wisconsin and then later moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa. Throughout her life she was a homemaker, mother to three children, and held various jobs that suited her bubbly nature.

In Beth’s early days her friends remember her smile, her laugh, her readiness for fun and the occasional mischief in her eye. She is remembered for her beautiful singing voice, her time on the swim team, and her qualities as a good daughter, sister and friend.

During her free time, Beth enjoyed being in nature, loving plants, feeding local wildlife and taking in the scenery. She spent much of her time at the library reading romance novels and discussing them with her friends. Another one of her passions was music, especially the live music in our area. She always loved the challenge of finding a good deal when thrifting and shopping.

Beth’s greatest passion was found in the kitchen, baking goodies for church, family and friends. Her creations were both delicious and beautiful, but the best part may have been the joy she had in sharing them with others.  Each treat she made was an expression of her love of which many have received.

Her family has amassed a collection of her recipes with plans underway to recreate a book of them that will live on.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: George Bramhall, William Bramhall (Lauren), and Maggie Bramhall; grandchildren: Eden, Miles, and Russell Bramhall; sisters: Anne Lynch (David), Jean Ahles (Brian), and Susan Kennedy; and step-mother, Nancy Kennedy.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Sandy Kennedy.
