Obituary of Donna Browning

Donna Lee (Donovan) Browning, was born September 9, 1941 at Forest City, Iowa. She grew up in Wesley, Iowa until she entered high school. She then to the Spirit Lake area and graduated from Spirit Lake Iowa High School in 1959. On March 25, 1962 she married Robert Browning. To this union was born two boys, Robert Lee in 1962 and Lonnie Shane in 1966. They started their married life in farming and moved to the Superior area in 1966 where they remained in farming until Robert's death in October, 2010. Donna continued to live on the farm until her death at the age of 70 from complications of liver disease that she battled for several years. She taught Sunday school, Bible school and assisted in a children's choir at the United Methodist Church in Estherville, Iowa. She loved flowers, her garden, crocheting, knitting and all crafts. She is survived by sons, Robert, Lonnie and his wife Nissa; twin granddaughters Ayrial Ann and Karlee Kay and grandson Hunter Andresen all of Estherville, Iowa; one brother Dan Donovan and his family of Milford.
