Obituary of Bonnie Snow

Bonnie Belle Snow was born August 30, 1922 to Lonnie and Nina (Wilson) McFarland in Lake Park, Iowa. Bonnie attended High School in Lake Park. She married Harvey L. Snow on August 15, 1941 in Worthington, Minnesota. They lived for 30 years on Silver Lake before moving to a senior apartment in Lake Park. In November 2006 they moved to the Milford Nursing Center. Bonnie was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, gardening, baking and cooking. She was a member of United Methodist Church and also the Legion Auxiliary. Bonnie passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Milford Nursing Center in Milford, Iowa at eighty-nine years of age. Survivors include daughters, Bonnie Lee Manitz and her husband, Don, Nancy Jean Jensen and her husband, Jerry; son, Steven "Sam" Snow and his wife, Jan; grandchildren, Todd Dice, Shelly Lundquist, Darcie Hrubetz, Nissa Lundquist, Shawn Jensen, Marney Jensen, Jeremy Snow, Sam Aaron Snow and Stephanie Lainez. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, in 2007; her parents; brothers, Robert, Bill and Si McFarland.
