Obituary of Linda Ratcliff

Linda Jo Ratcliff was born in Estherville Iowa on October 5, 1955 to Mary and Floy Wolterman. Linda Graduated from Spirit Lake High school in 1973. After high school, Linda worked in various restaurants in the area. She was also the bookkeeper for The Standard Station in Spirit Lake for many years. Linda Married Tom Ratcliff on Oct. 25.1986. They lived in Arnolds Park where Linda was the bookkeeper for Tom's business, Tom's Side Street Garage and she continued to wait tables. Many of you will remember her at the Legion Club in Milford Iowa for many years. Linda enjoyed reading books and traveling with Tom. Mexico was one of her favorite places to visit, she was a true sun worshipper. She made friends very easily, as Tom and her have very good friends from those trips. Linda was also a very devoted Aunt to her nieces and nephews. Linda Jo passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at a Sioux Falls, South Dakota hospital at 55 years of age. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Tom Ratcliff of Arnolds Park, Iowa; mother, Mary Wolterman of Spirit Lake Iowa, sisters, Debra ( Robert) Faulkner of Arnolds Park and Louise ( Mark) Foxhoven of Linn Grove Iowa; brothers, Don ( Laila) Wolterman of Milford Iowa, and Dean Wolterman of Spirit Lake Iowa; mother-in-law, Virginia Ratcliff of Mankato Minnesota; brothers-in-law, Dick of Spirit Lake Iowa, Mark of Mankato Minnesota, John (Deb) of Rosemont, Minnesota and Dan (Audrey) of Waconia Minnesota. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and other family. Linda was preceded in death by her father Floy Wolterman, her little sister, Lori, and her father-in-law, Bill Ratcliff. Memorials will be given to the American Cancer Society in Linda's name
