Obituary of Vera Keltz

Vera Viola Keltz was born February 3, 1935 in Everly, Iowa the daugher of Minord and Grace (Edmunds) Kruse. Vera was united in marriage to John Keltz on August 6, 1955 in Luverne, Minnesota. The couple made their home in Spencer, Iowa, where she worked as a custodian in the Spencer School System. Vera enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, camping and fishing. Vera passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Spencer Municipal Hospital in Spencer at seventy-six years of age. She is survived by her sisters, Arlene G. Smith of Spencer, Leona M. Smith of Linden, Iowa, Charlotte I. Bonnstet ter of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Bill Jo Keltz of Greenville, Iowa; Also surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews; step-sisters, Betty Hollander of Spencer and Martha Gadd of Spirit Lake; aunts Rachel Brown and Norma Kruse. She is preceded in death by a son, Tracy Dean Keltz, husband, John Keltz and brothers, Garold and Darrell Kruse.
