Obituary of Pamela Ann Thee

Pamela Ann Thee was born December 6, 1949 in Hartley, Iowa, the daughter of Mildred and Wilbert "Bud" Thee. Her early years were spent on the family farm near May City and she attended school in Hartley, until moving to Algona prior to her senior year. She attended Mankato State University. Pam married Terry Ford June 26, 1971 in Mankato, Minnesota, and to this union was born two daughters, Tara and Kimberly. The family lived in Corsicana, Texas for eleven years, moving back to Iowa in 1994. Pam lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota from 1998 to 2007, returning to "Lake Okoboji" to be close to family. Pam was a member of Harbor of Joy Lutheran Church in Milford. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and most importantly, serving the Lord in whatever way she could. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and also serving in the praise band. She had a zest for life, loved to laugh and make others laugh. Her most recent accomplishment was a trip to the Holy Land, where she "walked in the footsteps of Jesus" and was re-affirmed in her baptism in the Jordan River. Pam passed away July 18, 2011 at her home in Milford at sixty-two years of age. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tara and Kim Ford of Milford; granddaughters, Ariel Ford Loosier and Jennifer Theesfeld; mother, Mildred Thee of Spirit Lake; brother, Doug Thee and his wife Kathy of LeNoir, North Carolina, brother, Jeff Thee and his wife Cathy of Spirit Lake, nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbert Thee, and sister-in-law, Jerilyn Thee.
