Obituary of Casey Dean Clark

Casey Dean Clark was born on July 18, 1981 in Spirit Lake, Iowa to Bill and Teresa (Dean) Clark. Casey grew up in Spirit Lake all of his life except when he briefly lived in Princeton, Minnesota. He graduated high school in Spirit Lake as a member of the Class of 2000. He attended Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg until he enrolled in an EMT Course even though he was advised not to try due to his physical restrictions. Not only did he complete the course but he passed in the top percentage of the class. He then worked on the Emmetsburg Ambulance Crew as well as at the Emmetsburg Nursing Home. Casey always liked to help people. As a child, he would always help with any activity the Spirit Lake Jaycees were working on. He was also a Junior Volunteer as the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. He worked in various food establishments throughout the Lakes Region. Before his junior year of high school he completed nursing assistant training. He then worked at Hilltop Care Center and Wel-Life. He moved to the Twin Cities for a few years before he moved to Arizona in the fall of 2004. He married Traci Schatt on November 17, 2009 in Prescott Valley, Arizona. To this union, a daughter, Teagan Maye, was born in July, 2010. Casey is survived by his wife, Traci Clark; daughter, Teagan; mother, Teresa Clark; brother, Shane; grandfather, Glen Dean; father, Bill Clark; grandparents, Jim and Sharon Clark and various aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Troylene Dean and Nova Clark.
